Namco Bandai is accepting entry into one hell of a beta

If you’re a PlayStation 3 gamer and you’re looking forward to Dark Souls 2, you may not have to wait until March 2014 to get your hands on some hellish gaming.

Namco Bandai announced that they are accepting entry into the first round of beta testing for the game. If you’re in North America, Europe or the Australasia region, you’re eligible to sign up for entry into the beta. Signing up doesn’t guarantee entry, however, but it’s worth a shot if you’re a glutton for punishment and loved the earlier ‘Souls’ titles.

According to IGN, interested gamers can sign up via the PlayStation Network by downloading a beta ticket, available under the latest releases tab of the PS Store or by following this link.

The first round of the beta will begin Oct. 12 with another round to follow on Oct. 27. Even though the game is slated to also release on Xbox 360 and PC, no word on betas for the two platforms has been mentioned as of yet.
