E3 2015 @ SCG – Microsoft

See all the announcements, trailers and information in one place 

Microsoft says this year will feature its greatest games lineup ever. Within the next hour, the show will begin and we’ll find out if the Xbox brand can deliver on that promise. We know Forza 6 and Halo 5 will be featured and there are plenty of rumors as to what else Microsoft has up its sleeves for gamers in the coming years. Tune in to Twitch or watch on Xbox Live at 9:30 a.m. PT. If you can’t watch or just want to follow along with us, we’ll have a nice convenient list below for your enjoyment.

Announcements: 

Halo 5 Guardians – new gameplay trailer shown, new information, launching exclusively for Xbox One on Oct. 27, 2015.
Halo 5 Warzone – multiplayer gameplay trailer
ReCore – announcement, Xbox One exclusive, spring 2016 from makers of Metroid Prime and Keiji Inafune
Xbox 360 Backward Compatibility – announcement, 360 game will work natively on Xbox One, starting with 100 titles (including downloaded and retail disc games), works with Xbox One features like screenshots, broadcasting and more. Available this holiday.
Xbox Elite Controller – for Xbox One and PC (Windows 10), fully customizable controller
Fallout 4 – more information and footage (a lot of the same info. from Bethesda’s showcase). Mods created on PC will be able to be transferred, shared and played on Xbox One (Update: Bethesda says mods will come to PS4 eventually too)!
EA Access – Madden NFL 16 (launching August 25, August 20 for EA Access), Need for Speed, more available early on EA Access. Titanfall joining EA Access this week, Dragon Age: Inquisition later this summer. EA Access Vault opening to all Xbox Live Gold members this week (only) for free!
Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 – announcement, new trailer, launching next spring
Forza Motorsport 6 – Ford GT coming back and coming to Forza 6. Coming exclusively to Xbox One Sept. 15, 2015.
Dark Souls III – coming early 2016, announcement trailer shown
Tom Clancy’s The Division – new trailer, exclusive Xbox One Beta this December
Rainbow Six Siege – coming Dec. 13, 2015. Rainbow Six Vegas and Rainbow Six Vegas 2 coming to Xbox One free as backward compatible Xbox 360 titles when you purchase Siege for Xbox One.
Gigantic – new free-to-play game for Xbox One and Windows 10
ID@Xbox – Indie games montage, coming to Xbox One and Windows 10 as part of ID@Xbox program. Indie game highlights (coming to Xbox One first or to Xbox One as console exclusives): Tacoma, Ashen, Beyond Eyes, Cuphead.
Xbox Game Preview – early access Xbox One program announced, every game comes with free trial. Includes: The Long Dark, Sheltered, Elite Dangerous and Day-Z beginning today with Elite Dangerous and The Long Dark.
ION – announcement, new trailer shown for this Xbox One Preview MMO from Day-Z creator
Rise of the Tomb Raider – new gameplay trailer shown, still Xbox Exclusive for Holiday 2015, coming Nov. 10, 2015.
Rare Replay – announcement trailer shown, 30 games for $30, coming Aug. 4 exclusively to Xbox One
Sea of Thieves – Xbox One exclusive from Rare
Fable Legends – new trailer shown, free-to-play on Windows 10 and Xbox One, gamers can play across one account on both platforms
Virtual Reality – Oculus Rift and Valve VR partnerships with Microsoft for Xbox One and Windows 10,
Microsoft HoloLens – new information shared, see below
Minecraft – new version of Minecraft built for HoloLens demoed
Gears of War Ultimate Edition – original game remastered for Xbox One, one week public beta of the game’s multiplayer starts today
Gears 4 – announcement, new trailer shown, holiday 2016 Xbox One exclusive

Crackdown, Quantum Break and more, including new games will be discussed at Gamescom.
