The games will feature online play, leaderboards and updated interfaces

According to Atari, the company will release a new collection of 100 of its most iconic classic games later this year for PC via Steam.

The games announced so far are Centipede, Missile Command, Asteroids, Tempest, and Warlords. Atari Vault, as the game will be called, is being developed by Code Mystics.

Atari Vault supports the Steam controller, includes an updated user interface, takes advantage of Steam leaderboards and features local and online multiplayer, according to Atari’s press release.

The game is set for a PC release this spring and will be playable at Pax South at the end of this month. No word on a console release at this point in time.
