2K released a new trailer for its upcoming sequel to 2010’s Mafia II today and revealed that Mafia III will hit PS4, Xbox One and PC on October 7 of this year.

The trailer sets up the game’s story and setting in the 1960s racism-filled era of New Orleans as players will take control of Vietnam Veteran Lincoln Clay in his vendetta to take down the mob. The game is being developed by new 2K studio Hangar 13 and led by former Star Wars writer Haden Blackman, according to 2K.

In addition to the release of the trailer and announcement of the release date, 2K also announced several pre-order bonuses and special editions. Pre-orders will include the “Family Kick-Back,” which includes three exclusive “lieutenant-themed,” vehicles and weapons as seen in the trailer.

A $79.99 limited deluxe edition comes with the game and the Season Pass and a $149.99 limited collector’s edition will include everything in the deluxe version plus the game’s soundtrack on vinyl, a collectible art book, art prints and more goodies to be announced later, according to 2K.
