Download the app now for iOS and Android devices to solve puzzles in the ultra-stylized companion app for the upcoming fifth installment of the Uncharted series
Sony released a new mobile app that connects to Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and allows players to unlock in-game items.
The new game is called Uncharted: Fortune Hunter and is available now for iOS and Android devices for free.
In the game, players are tasked with collecting treasure by solving more than 200 puzzles across six campaigns, which consist of using a finger on the touchscreen to show Drake where to walk.
There are obstacles that have to be moved and pitfalls that have to be avoided and the end goal is to get to the part of each map where the treasure is located.
Playing through the puzzles allows users to collect keys to treasure chests that can be given to Sully to unlock items for the upcoming game’s multiplayer mode. Items that can be unlocked are listed below.
- Casual Drake Outfit
- Newsboy Hat
- France Sully Outfit
- Dark Knotted Wood Weapon Skin
- Copper Weapon Skin
- Top Hat
- Uncharted 4 Relics
- Gear Booster
- Heavy Weapons Booster
- Mysticals Booster
- Sidekicks Booster
Though the mobile app is available now, players cannot sign in to their PSN accounts to start unlocking these items until May 10 when Uncharted 4 launches. We’ve embedded some gameplay footage below if you want to check it out before downloading.
There are also items like skins and other goodies that can be unlocked for the app itself either through gameplay or via microtransactions.
Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End launches exclusively for PlayStation 4 on May 10 and the reviews are already proving that the game won’t be one to miss.
