The PS4-exclusive from the developer behind the Killzone games hits the PlayStation 4 February 28, 2017, watch the new trailer here
Guerilla Games, the developer behind the Killzone series, has announced that its ambitious new PlayStation 4 exclusive, Horizon: Zero Dawn, which was announced at last year’s E3 will now hit the console on February, 28, 2017.
The game was slated for an October 2016 release, but the developer stated on the PlayStation blog that more time was needed to make the game reach its full potential.
“It wasn’t an easy choice to make; we know many of you have been anxious to play the game since we first announced it,” Guerrilla managing director Hermen Hulst said. “However, we also want to ensure that Horizon Zero Dawn lives up to the visuals and gameplay quality that our games are known for. The new date affords us the extra time required to deliver fully on our ambitious vision for Horizon Zero Dawn.”
Take a look at the age-restricted trailer below, which sets up more of the story, features fantastic music and shows off the beautiful visuals and excellent-looking gameplay, and let us know in the comments how you feel about the delay as well as whether or not Horizon: Zero Dawn is on your radar.
