The software publisher has teamed with Mattel to bring the card game back to the digital space

Ubisoft Chengdu is bringing Uno back and it’ll be available on PS4, Xbox One and PC on August 9 as a digital download.

The game was revealed today in an Ubisoft sales call and has since been officially announced. Ubisoft Chengdu has worked on Valiant Hearts, Assassin’s Creed Unity and several mobile titles in the past.

The last version of Uno to come to a console was in 2009 when GameLoft brought the game to the PS3. Before that, Xbox 360 got Uno in 2006 with a version developed by Carbonated Games and published by Microsoft – a game we hope comes to the backward compatibility program.

Ubisoft’s version of the game will allow for house rules, drop-in and drop-out online gameplay, two-player local gameplay, leaderboards and social features, video and voice chat, themed decks and more.
