Check out what’s on offer for Xbox Live Gold and PlayStation Plus members for the final month of 2016

December’s PlayStation Plus and Xbox Live Games with Gold were each revealed recently and you can see what you’ll have the opportunity to play next month as a subscriber to one or both services right here in one convenient place.

If you haven’t already seen it, we want to make sure all our readers are aware of our PlayStation Plus Free Games and Xbox Live Games with Gold sections here at Shortcut Gamer.

Our “More from SCG” menu features a page for each of the two subscription services. In addition to the games for the upcoming month, we’ve listed all of the previous games that have been offered.

For December, we’ve provided links to those pages as well as the lists of games you’ll be getting during the month if you subscribe to Xbox Live Gold and/or PlayStation Plus.

If you’ve yet to grab November’s games, be sure to do so. Xbox Live Gold titles update starting Nov. 1, with additional games becoming available beginning Nov. 16. PlayStation’s titles will be available starting Dec. 6.

Don’t forget, both Sony and Microsoft offer weekly sales, many of which have deeper discounts for subscribers or that are locked out to non-subscribers, so be sure to hit up the PlayStation Blog and Major Nelson’s Xbox Blog or just keep an eye on each service’s respective game store for more information on those.

Keep in mind, too, that Xbox 360 Games with Gold are now playable on Xbox One via the backward compatibility functionality.

Xbox Live Gold and PlayStation Plus run $59.99 a year. Both services can be purchased at discounts if you watch for sales throughout the year.

For more on what each service offers, in addition to the monthly free games, please visit each service’s respective official web page.
