Here’s what you’ll be playing on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita in the month of August

August’s PlayStation Plus Free Games have been revealed and this month, you’ll be playing Just Cause 3, Assassin’s Creed: Freedom Cry and more.

The page features a list of every game that’s ever been offered on the PlayStation Plus program, so you can take a look at what you’ve missed or get a reminder of what you downloaded at this time last year.

For August, we’ve provided a link below to the PlayStation Plus Free Games page as well as the full list of games you’ll be getting during the month if you subscribe to PlayStation Plus.

PlayStation Plus Free Games

August 2017:

  • Just Cause 3 (PS4)
  • Assassin’s Creed: Freedom Cry (PS4)
  • Downwell (PS4, Vita)
  • Super Motherload (PS3)
  • Snakeball (PS3)
  • Level 22 (Vita)

Additionally, Sony is also offering a free copy of That’s You, a new game that uses phones and selfies, between July 4 and Oct. 24 to celebrate PlayLink’s launch. Sony is also offering several movie rentals for $0.99 and a free DLC pack for free-to-play game Dreadnaught. The free DLC pack will be available starting Aug. 15.

If you’ve yet to grab July’s games, you’ve got until July 31 as August’s PlayStation Plus games will become available when the PlayStation Store updates on Tuesday, Aug. 1.

Don’t forget, Sony offers weekly sales, many of which have deeper discounts for subscribers or that are locked out to non-subscribers, so be sure to hit up the PlayStation Blog or just keep an eye on the PlayStation Store for more information on those.

PlayStation Plus runs $59.99 a year, but discounts can be found from time to time, especially around Black Friday. For more information on other services PlayStation Plus offers, please visit the official PlayStation web page.
