Xbox Games with Gold announced for December 2017

Here’s what Xbox Live Gold members can play on Xbox One and Xbox 360 in the month of December

December’s Xbox Live Games with Gold have been revealed and this month’s subscribers will be playing Back to the Future, Child of Eden and more.

Be sure to visit our Xbox Live Games with Gold section here at SCG, which is located under our “More from SCG” menu. The page features a list of every game that’s ever been offered on the Games with Gold program, so you can take a look at what you’ve missed or get a reminder of what you downloaded at this time last year.

For December, we’ve provided a link below to the Games with Gold page as well as the full list of games you’ll be getting during the month if you subscribe to Xbox Live Gold.

Xbox Live Games with Gold

December 2017:

  • Warhammer: End Times – Vermintide (Dec. 16 – Jan. 15) (X1)
  • Back to the Future: The Game – 30th Anniversary Edition (Dec. 16 – Jan. 15) (X1)
  • Child of Eden (Dec. 1 – 15) (X360)
  • Marlow Briggs and the Mask of the Death (Dec. 16 – 31) (X360)

If you’ve yet to grab November’s games, you’ve got until Dec. 1. Note that some games carry over to the following month and some games don’t become free until the middle of the month (see above).

Don’t forget, Microsoft offers weekly sales, many of which have deeper discounts for subscribers or are locked out to non-subscribers, so be sure to hit up Major Nelson’s Xbox Blog or just keep an eye on the Xbox Store for more information on those.

Keep in mind that Xbox 360 Games with Gold are playable on Xbox One via Xbox One’s backward compatibility feature.

Xbox Live Gold runs $59.99 a year, but discounts can be found from time to time, especially around Black Friday, which is just around the corner. For more information on other services Xbox Live Gold offers, please visit the official Xbox web page.

Don’t forget to keep it locked to SCG for monthly updates on subscription game offerings and everything else gamers from the River City and beyond need to know.
