Here’s what you can play on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita for March 2018, Sony to discontinue PS3 and Vita freebies next year
March’s PlayStation Plus Free Games have been revealed and this month’s subscribers can play Bloodborne, Ratchet & Clank, Mighty No. 9 and more.
In addition to the usual monthly games announcement, according to a PlayStation Blog post, Sony has decided to stop offering PS3 and PlayStation Vita games beginning next March (March 8, 2019 to be specific).
The company assures PlayStation Plus subscribers that no other features of the service will cease and that this will not affect previously downloaded PS3 and Vita freebies.
“Many of our fans are playing on the PS4 platform, with the increasingly vast number of PS4s in homes around the world,” said PlayStation Plus rep James Hallahan in the blog post. “We’ll continue to prioritize the benefits you receive through your PS Plus membership, such as online multiplayer, online game save storage, PS4 monthly games, and exclusive PS Store discounts across content and network services.”
For March, we’ve provided a link below to our PlayStation Plus Free Games page as well as the full list of games you’ll be getting during the month if you subscribe to PlayStation Plus.

The new month’s PlayStation Plus games become available when the PlayStation Store updates on the first Tuesday of each month. If you’ve yet to grab February’s games, you’ve got until March 5 as the new games will be offered beginning March 6.
Don’t forget, Sony offers weekly sales, many of which have deeper discounts for subscribers or are locked out to non-subscribers, so be sure to hit up the PlayStation Blog or just keep an eye on the PlayStation Store for more information on those.
PlayStation Plus runs $59.99 a year, but discounts can be found from time-to-time, especially around Black Friday. For more information on other services PlayStation Plus offers, please visit the official PlayStation web page.
Keep it locked to SCG for monthly updates on the subscription game offerings and everything else gamers from the River City and beyond need to know.
