Captain Toad coming to Switch and 3DS, Dark Souls Remastered Amiibo, Luigi’s Mansion remaster, details on other upcoming games and more
Nintendo held a Nintendo Direct today and announced some megatons to not be outdone by the announcements of The Division 2 and Call of Duty Black Ops 4 that happened earlier today.
Among the Nintendo Direct announcements were a new Smash Brothers coming to Switch, Amiibo for Dark Souls Remastered and lots more. Nintendo Switch:
Super Smash Brothers – Coming later this year.
Dark Souls Remastered – Amiibo coming soon. Beta test May 25.
Splatoon 2, version 3.0 – A new update is coming in April with lots of goodies. DLC coming this summer.
Mario Tennis Aces – Coming June 22, new details shared.
Hyrule Warriors Definitive Edition – Coming May 18
South Park: The Fractured but Whole and Crash Bandicoot: N-Sane Trilogy – Coming to Switch April 24 and July 10, respectively.
Little Nightmares: Complete Edition – Coming May 18
Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker – Coming to Switch July 13, features new Mario Odyssey level and two player support.
Octopath Traveler – coming July 13, new characters announced.
Sushi Striker: The Way of the Sushido – Coming June 8
Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes, Okami HD and Undertale – coming soon
Nintendo 3DS:
Mario & Luigi: Bowser’s Inside Story + Bowser Jr.’s Journey – Coming next year
Luigi’s Mansion – GameCube remake with added Boss Rush mode and map display on bottom screen, coming some time in 2018.
Warioware Gold – game collection similar to Mario Party collection that came out recently, coming August 3.
Dillon’s Dead Heat Breakers – Coming May 24
