PlayStation Plus free games announced for July 2018

Here’s what you can play on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita for July 2018

July’s PlayStation Plus Free Games have been revealed and this month’s subscribers can play Absolver, Heavy Rain and more.

The new month’s PlayStation Plus games become available when the PlayStation Store updates on the first Tuesday of each month. If you’ve yet to grab June’s games, you’ve got until July 3 (the store usually updates by about 9 a.m. PT).

Here’s the full list of games for the month:

July 2018

  • Call of Duty: Black Ops III (PS4) (E3 bonus Plus game through July 11)
  • Absolver (PS4)
  • Heavy Rain (PS4)
  • Deception IV: The Nightmare Princess (PS3)
  • Rayman 3 HD (PS3)
  • Space Overlords (Vita)
  • Zero Escape: Zero Time Dilemma (Vita)

In addition, Sony is offering a discount for PlayStation Plus subscribers on its PlayStation Now game streaming service. The service offers over 650 PS4, PS3 and PS2 games to stream and play in full. A three month subscription normally runs for $44.99, but subscribers can get it for $29.99 through Sept. 25.

For more, you can visit our PlayStation Plus Free Games section here at SCG. The page features a list of every game that’s ever been offered on the PlayStation Plus program, so you can take a look at what you’ve missed or get a reminder of what you downloaded at this time last year.

Don’t forget, Sony offers weekly sales, many of which have deeper discounts for subscribers or are locked out to non-subscribers, so be sure to hit up the PlayStation Blog or just keep an eye on the PlayStation Store for more information on those.

PlayStation Plus runs $59.99 a year, but discounts can be found from time-to-time, especially around Black Friday. For more information on other services PlayStation Plus offers, please visit the official PlayStation web page.

Keep it locked to SCG for monthly updates on the subscription game offerings and everything else gamers from the River City and beyond need to know.
