Super Smash Bros., Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Pokemon and more will be playable at Nintendo’s booth this summer
Gamers know summers usually mean gaming droughts and time to catch up on backlogs, but Nintendo hopes to give gamers something to do this year.
The company announced it’ll be touring to 13 cities over the next five months and it’ll be bringing playable versions of Super Mario Maker 2, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu!, Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee!, Overcooked! 2, Super Mario Party and Splatoon 2 along with it.
“The Nintendo Switch Road Trip highlights the portability of Nintendo Switch as we travel the country to bring our games directly to fans,” Nick Chavez, Nintendo of America’s Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing said in a press release.
Not only will the tour feature games to play, it’ll also allow visitors who are members of the My Nintendo program to receive a free gift by checking in at the booth with their QR code.
According to Nintendo, “the colorful space offers fun photo opportunities for sharing on social media, Nintendo-themed challenges and special Target discount coupons that will be handed out at all stops (while supplies last).”
The Sacramento stop will happen between July 12 and 14 during the California State Fair at Cal Expo.
