Here’s what PlayStation Plus subscribers can play this month
August’s PlayStation Plus free games have been revealed and this month’s subscribers can check out a Sony exclusive collection of racing games and a recent entry in the Sniper Elite series.
The new month’s PlayStation Plus games become available when the PlayStation Store updates on the first Tuesday of each month. If you’ve yet to grab July’s games, you’ve got until approximately midnight on Aug. 5.
Here’s the full list of games for the month:
- Wipeout: The Omega Collection
- Sniper Elite 4
If you want to know what you got free at this time last year or want to see what else has been free this year, you can visit our PlayStation Plus Free Games section here at SCG. The page features a list of every game that’s ever been offered on the PlayStation Plus program.
PlayStation Plus runs $59.99 a year, but discounts can be found from time-to-time. PlayStation Plus is required for most online games, but includes free monthly games, cloud save game storage and more.
For more information on other services PlayStation Plus offers, please visit the official PlayStation web page.
Don’t forget, Sony offers weekly sales, many of which have deeper discounts for PS Plus subscribers or are locked out to non-subscribers. Be sure to hit up the PlayStation Blog or just keep an eye on the PlayStation Store for more information on those.
