All the big updates and announcements from the E3 2021 showcases: Microsoft/Bethesda, Ubisoft, Nintendo and more

It’s finally here. E3 2021 is upon us and after the coronavirus pandemic canceled the show last year, it’s been a while since we’ve been able to celebrate gaming at the biggest showcase of the year.

This year’s show features four days of announcements, updates, new trailers, DLC surprises and more. We’ll be following along and keeping track of all the big announcements from each of the big companies that will present.

Our list below will feature links to trailers and clips from presentations, when available. Be sure to check back often as we’ll be keeping our recap updated throughout the next few days.

E3 2021 runs from June 12 through June 15. It’s important to note that Sony and the PlayStation brand has said it will sit out E3 once again this year.

Sony first began skipping E3 back in 2019 and won’t have a presence at this year’s show either. That’s likely disappointing for PlayStation fans, but Sony will certainly make some big announcements in the weeks and months to come, whether it be through State of Play livestreams or via another method.

In addition to Sony, EA is also sitting out E3. The company is not even doing its own event during E3 week like it has in the past several years. Instead, this year will feature an EA showcase on July 22. You can learn more about that and watch it here.

This year’s E3 show is also a bit different in that Microsoft and Bethesda will present together for the first time.

Microsoft purchased Bethesda last year, so it’ll be interesting to see how their co-branded show comes together and what it could mean for PC, PlayStation and Nintendo in terms of exclusive games.

You can watch the show here. Thanks for stopping by and enjoy E3 2021!
